Photos for media coursework

During the summer I have been able to visit many theme parks across the uk I never usually visit, so I thought I should upload the ones I could potentially use for my media magazine for year 11 to give a large variety.

Here are some of my own photos from my first time visiting Paultons park!

The main entrance features a large recreation of the Paultons park logo

The entrance to the brand new area Tornado springs which features the uk's first ever Mack rides spinning coaster! The area and its attractions were planned to open to the public in 2020 but due to Covid-19, the opening date was pushed back to 2021.  The entrance to Storm chaser and behind it is Buffalo falls .
The station to storm chaser. It is designed to look like an old barn with animals scattered everywhere, representing them being tossed around in a tornado. This other photo is one of the storm chaser trains ascending up its lift hill.

A photo of  route 83. At the end we see the intimidating Cyclonator, the areas signature flat ride. I also have a photo of the entrance to Cyclonator.

The entrance to the Lost kingdom, home to the park's Vekoma suspended coaster and boomerang coaster. This land opened in 2016 and is themed around an ancient jungle home to many kinds of dinosaurs that rule the land.

Here are some of my Alton towers photos.

Oblivion's iconic drop into the deep hole below
A silhouette of the smiler against a grey sky
The most intense turn on Nemesis with the monorail in the background.
The entrance to Rita, the park's hydraulic launch coaster opened in 2005.
Rita's station and break run.

The entrance to Forbidden Valley, home of Nemesis. And below is a shot of Nemesis' zero G roll

The large structure of the Wickerman (otherwise known as big Bob), standing tall in front of the entrance. Wickerman is the parks 2018 wooden coaster, built by GCI (great coasters international)
The entrance to Wicker man. Below is a shot of The Smiler's vertical lift hill

The bright, blinding, yellow entrance to the Smiler

The donut factory, behind it is Oblivion suspended at the top of its drop. Below is a picture of Oblivion's entrance with the sun glaring behind it.

The Marmaliser, the centrepiece of the Smiler

The huge nemesis alien structure, behind it is the trains going through its vertical loop.
